Last month, the Truck Committee for the new Heavy Rescue 1 traveled to Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin to conduct the final inspection of our new Pierce Arrow XT Heavy Rescue.

This critical step in the build process allowed our members to thoroughly inspect all aspects of the apparatus to ensure it meets the specifications. The new Heavy Rescue is expected to be delivered and placed into service this summer after it undergoes an equipment upfit at the dealership.

We would like to thank the committee for their time and dedication to this project, as well as the Mahwah Township Council for their continued support in ensuring Company 1 maintains the equipment necessary to provide the highest level of rescue service to our community.
