Yesterday morning Rescue Company 1, Fire Company 2, along with EMS, and Police were dispatched to an MVA with entrapment on Route 202.

Upon arrival, Chief 130 confirmed the entrapment and updated incoming apparatus. Rescue 1 arrived quickly and began stabilization and extrication operations. The crew from Rescue performed a roof flap to gain access to the patient.

Rescue Engine 117 arrived and provided additional manpower and tools as needed. Upon removal, the patient was transported by Mahwah EMS to an area hospital. Crews returned to quarters after operating for approximately 1 hour.
