Early this morning (Monday, Sept. 11th) MFD Co’s 1 & 2 were dispatched mutual aid to a strip mall in Suffern NY, for a commercial structure fire.
Co 2 responded as the FAST team and Co 1 with an engine.
Initial arriving Suffern & Tallman units made entry and quickly put down a fire in the storage area of a convenience store.
Engine 115’s crew made entry to all stores on the Bravo (2 side) of the fire unit, checked for extension and ventilated those businesses.
MFD units operated on scene for approximately 1.5 hours before returning to the township.
