For this week’s (08-16-2023) drill Co 1 firefighters worked on their diving and tending skills.
Co 1 maintains one of the few dive teams in the area (there are only 4 in Bergen County). So keeping our skills sharp is important for not only Mahwah residents, but any surrounding jurisdiction without access to a qualified dive team.
Along with that, our divers possess a very wide range of qualified skills from underwater evidence recovery, to vehicle recovery, making our team one of the most qualified in the area.
