This morning Co1’s airboat, Marine 1, responded to Wurtsboro, NY to assist another Fire Department who had gotten their airboat stuck deep inside of a marsh while searching for a missing kayaker earlier that morning. Thankfully, the lost kayaker was found and evacuated, though suffering from exposure.
It took approximately five hours to get the stranded airboat free.
