Drill Night: Confidence Course
At this week’s drill Company 1 Firefighters trained on the confidence course located at Fire Company 4. The course helps to sharpen the firefighter’s skills and become comfortable in situations with confined spaces, low profiles, and entanglement hazards, all of which could be encounter during a call. This May the volunteer firefighters of Company 1 responded to 22 calls for service 1 Set of Burning Utility Wires 1 CO Alarm 1 Dispatched Structure Fire 1 Down Tree 2 EMS Assists 1 Elevator Rescues 2 Extrications 9 Fire Alarms 1 Fuel Spill 1 Gas Leak 1 Smell of Smoke As always, the volunteer members of Company 1 are ready to respond 24 hours a day 7 days week.
