At Around 6:40 tonight Rescue 1, Fire Company 4, and EMS South responded to the Campgaw Ski area for a person with a broken ankle. After arriving on scene Rescue 1 along with members from Company 4 and EMS hiked up to the injured person. Once EMS stabilized his injury Rescue 1 carried him down the mountain for transport to an area hospital.

At around 11PM tonight companies 1, 2, 3, and EMS North responded to Corporate Drive for a possible chimney fire. After arriving Engine 117’s crew ensured that the fire was extinguished and returned to quarters shortly after.

At around 1AM this morning Company 2 was dispatched to Mckee Drive for an activated fire alarm. After arriving fire crews found a light smoke condition inside of the building and dispatched companies 1, 3, and 4. After investigating, a faulty air conditioner was found to be the cause. All units returned to quarters shortly after.

At around 11:15 this morning Rescue 1 along with Fire Companies 2, 4, and EMS North responded to Seminary Road for an overturned car with entrapment. After arriving on scene Rescue 1 found the car on its roof with the driver trapped inside. Not long after arriving the driver was extricated and transported to an area hospital.

At around 1:45 this afternoon Rescue 1 and Company 2 responded to an overturned tractor-trailer on Corporate Drive. While the driver was making a delivery the brakes failed and the trucked rolled backward down the street and crashed. Once on scene Rescue 1 stabilized the truck and Company 2 addressed the fuel spill.

Today Company 1 responded to 3 calls for service, 2 of which were mutual aid. The first call came in at around 6:25 this morning. Company 1’s air boat, Marine 1 was requested to Ramsey to help vent a warehouse. Ramsey FD had extinguished a fire but needed help removing the residual smoke. Marine 1 responded and around 1 hour later returned to quarters after successfully venting the warehouse. The second call came in at around 6:25 that evening. Companies 1, 2, 3, and 4 responded to the KinderCare Learning Center for a fire alarm. As Company 1 was preparing to respond to the alarm, the dive team was requested to Crestwood Lake in Allendale for a missing person. At around 7:10 this morning Companies 1, 2, 3, and EMS North responded to the Mobile gas station on Route 17 South for a fire. After arriving on scene the responding units found the fuel pumps knocked over and a small fire. After extinguishing the fire all units returned to quarters.
At around 7:30 tonight companies 1, 2, 3, and EMS North responded to Winter Terrace for a smoke condition in the garage. After arriving on scene Engine 117 (OIC C. Darby) searched the home for the cause of the smoke. After investigating it was determined that smoke was coming from a faulty garage door opener.

At around 1:30 this morning Companies 1, 2, 3, 4 and EMS South responded to a burning smell at Bergen County’s Communications Center. All units returned shortly after determining the cause was from a faulty server cooler.
