For our drill night this week (3/1/23), the firefighters of Co 1 worked with our array of gas-powered saws.

Typically these saws are used for gaining entry to structures, removing debris from trapped victims, and ventilating structures on fire. Due to their power and willingness to easily cut anything placed in their path, practice and experience with these tools is a must.

An added benefit to training with these saws is it exercises the saw and ensures each tool is ready to operate when needed at an emergency.

We would also like to thank all our neighbors within earshot of the firehouse for tolerating our training noise.
