18 years later our actions as firefighters serve as a reminder that in the darkest days there is good in the world. As posted last week the Mahwah FD Exempt Association continues to put out the flags to honor the sacrifices made. Tomorrow we remember all those lost in the attack of September 11, 2001 at 7pm. Please join the community tomorrow by the Mahwah Train Station.
At around 3:30 this morning Mahwah Fire responded to Route 287 South for a truck fire. As firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and overhaul the affected contents we were joined by our colleagues at Mahwah EMS, firefighters from Allendale, Ramsey, and Hillburn who assisted at the scene and stood by at our firehouses during the call.
