It is Fire Prevention Month and the MFD will be out fulfilling their mission of teaching Fire Safety! We are doing multiple events to reach as many children in town as possible. It is also up to the parents and caregivers at home to reinforce the message of fire safety! Here are some of the events and dates for this month. Please share! Each year members from the community place a flag for each firefighter and police officer lost on 9/11 at a memorial located across from Winters Pond. Tomorrow night the town will be holding a memorial service.
