The officers and members of Company 1 are heartbroken to learn of the passing of current Mahwah Co 2 President Giovanni Pertuz. Gio was a dedicated fireman, husband, and Father of two great kids. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 30th from 1-4 and 6-9pm at Gentiles Funeral Home in Hackensack with a fire department service at 730pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 31st at 1030am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with a Burial to follow at Mary Rest Cemetery. Please keep Gio, his wife and children, and the entire Mahwah Fire Department in your prayers during this most difficult time.

The Ruit family will receive friends on Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM with a Fire dept. service at 7:30 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.   Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 AM at the Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 530 Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff.   Interment will follow in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery.
