We are pleased to share an update on Rescue Company 1’s new Pierce Arrow XT Heavy Rescue, which is currently in the final stages of production at Pierce Manufacturing in Wisconsin.

Recent progress includes completion of the body construction, installation of the body onto the chassis, and final assembly. The apparatus is now undergoing electrical systems integration, striping and lettering, and final quality control inspections. Within the next month, our apparatus committee will travel to the factory to conduct a final inspection to ensure the vehicle is built to specifications.

We look forward to sharing additional updates as this project nears completion. The new heavy rescue will significantly enhance and modernize our technical rescue capabilities and ensure Company 1 can continue providing exceptional service to Mahwah Township and our mutual aid partners.
