When is a good time for a Christmas card pic? For the firefighters of Co 1, that would be at 1:30am after clearing from a call.

It was a busy morning too!

First, we were dispatched to a Mahwah hotel on the report of a burning smell in a hotel room. After finding the cause (a powerstrip that burned up) Co 1 firefighters took the opportunity to take a Christmas card picture. We had just arrived back at the firehouse before being dispatched to another call on the other side of town (this time water coming through some electrical outlets).

Our company motto is “Loyal to Our Duty”, and that doesn’t change for the time of day. Or the time of year.
