At around 12:45 this morning Rescue 1 and Fire Company 2 responded to North Central Avenue for a single car accident with an entrapped driver. Once on scene Rescue 1 found that the vehicle had struck a utility pole and worked quickly to extricate the driver. After about 30 minutes all units had returned to quarters.
