On Dec. 29th at 10:46 AM, the Mahwah fire dept. was dispatched to a residential structure fire on Airmount Road. First arriving police and fire units confirmed a working fire in the walls of the structure, and requested mutual aid.
Thanks to the quick work of Mahwah firefighters (and our surrounding mutual aid), the fire was very quickly contained to a single room and brought under control with minimal damage to the rest of the home.
